Laura Knudson owns the Las Vegas North. Southwest and East SeekingSitters locations. As a military spouse and working mother with one daughter, she knows how challenging it can be to find quality childcare, especially when new to an area. Laura, a Texas native, has lived on both coasts and has enjoyed making each location her home. She earned her Masters from the University of Texas and is both a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Management Accountant, and has specialized in Securities Exchange Commission reporting. 

While settling her family in Las Vegas, two facts became apparent: 1) SeekingSitters did not have an active presence in Las Vegas, and 2) her daughter was struggling after having been uprooted twice in 1 year to move across the country. Together, these flashed a neon sign that something needed to be done. Leaving her successful career as the SEC Reporting Manager at one of the casinos, Laura rolled the dice and opened 3 SeekingSitters Las Vegas locations. SeekingSitters was invaluable to her at previous locations and her goal is to spread the word about SeekingSitters and provide on-demand, safe and quality childcare to the Vegas area.
